THE VINEYARD
Growing on well-drained, stony, limestone soils with patches of sand, the vineyard is planted with a typical range of regional grape-varieties charcterising the Appellation d’Origine Controllée ‘côtes de Ventoux’; Grenache, Syrahn Cinsault and Carignan. Much of the vineyard comprises old vines, some more than 50 years old, from which our quality wines are made. Our plantations receive all the care and attention necessary to protect health and a natural environment, indispensable for quality agriculture. Such conditions are very favourable to berry maturation, enhancing rich aromas and complex flavours.
*In 2009, the “Château Campagne de Bacchus” embarked on an organic agricultural conversion process.
